9002 Error every 10-20 minutes

Never had this problem in the past, I had 2002 errors for the entire pre-release and now after release its 9002 errors whenever I try to play. Even when I DO get in game, it's laggy, slow and rubber banding. My Connectiong is 35Mbs and other games have absolutely no lag issues, and even FFXIV traditionally has not had connection issues either. I have been unable to play for more than 10 minute or so bursts for about a week now. I am paying for this time to play, and I am unable to use what I paid for. Very unacceptable :( For the record I have been subbed for several months before the release of the expansion with no problem, but many issues now and during pre release.

I am having this problem too. I just started last week but I have been getting disconnects (mostly 90002) since I started. I posted in the sticky but got no response. It happens randomly, anywhere at anytime. I have been getting disconnected during both battle and crafting causing me to die/fail and costing me 1000's of Gil in travel and high quality ingredients. The game is pretty much unplayable at this point. I don't know why I would buy a subscription to a game I can't even play. (Which is a shame because from what I have seen so far it's quite a good game.)

Same problem yeah, game is almost unplayable and I bought 2 months of subscription. Makes me sad that I wasted that money. Worst part is the game worked fine before, it's only within the past week and a bit that its gotten bad.

I just started have the same problem out of the blue (Except im getting 90001). I had logged out of the game a couple hours ago then when I logged back in I get the 90001 error and DC every 10-20 minutes aswell. I cant do anything. I tried resetting my router, unplugging all my ports and waiting a few minutes and plugged them back in, turning off all background programs ect.. Nothing works :(

Edit: I never had this issue before. I don't understand why it abruptly stated.

Having the same problem. First ridiculous amount of lag, and now 90002. I'm on Tonberry

Same issue here. I came here to make a topic on this after getting annoyed with disconnects every 20 minutes. Now I see I'm not alone, this is affecting quite a few people. It's not even lag. The game runs fine, but then all of a sudden, disconnected from server with 90002 error message. I can hardly do dungeon runs anymore because this gets me kicked from parties.

Please fix this issue ASAP, SE. For the record, I'm on DX11 client and Primal data center. Never had this problem before.

I'm on Faeriw if that helps. Still getting this issue, it seems worse in dungeons. This is the ONLY game giving me problems, all other programs and games are lag free and play fine. I used a packet sniffer to take a look at FFXIV and it seems to be hemorrhaging packets for me, the packet loss between server and client is WAY out of whack. I don't even get lag in the game, it seems like I get 9002 and a disconnect only after a massive amount of packet loss on the connection. I opened up another MMO just to see if I saw the same packet loss in another title, and I did not, it seems exclusive to FFXIV, and it has only been happening the last 2 weeks. I resubbed for 2 months and i've been unable to play properly for nearly 2 weeks, so right now it's been total wasted money.

And yeah, in dungeons i get 9002 about every 5 minutes, where as outside of dungeons I can play for at least 20 minutes sometimes an hour even without disconnecting, though I do experience the odd rubber banding issue where it looks like it will disconnect but doesn't.

I contacted support and they have yet to come up with a solution as well.

I'm getting these issues too, once every .... 10 minutes and It takes a good 3 minutes to get back on, very hard to actually play.
