Invite to what?

Hey, just wondering why there are times when the chat is randomly spammed with like fifty people asking for invites? I'm probably being really noobish here but what do they want an invite to?:confused:

Oh and then they start saying 'dead' or 'pulled early', what is that all about?

Its because a hunt spawned in that zone, either A or S rank.

A hunt? Sorry I'm a new player so I don't know many of the terms for things yet. Thanks for replying by the way :)

When you get to level 50 you can participate in notorious monster hunts. They come in 3 ranks: B, A, S. The B ranks can be done solo and are given out as weekly quests. The A ranks spawn every 4 hours. The S ranks spawn every 48-72 hours and only under certain conditions.
Participating in a mark kill gives you Allied Seals which can be traded into the grand company for various things.

this is only when you reach lvl 50? you can't participate at low lvl?

You can, but you have a higher risk of dying and nothing you get from the hunts will benefit you before level 50.

Really? Because I did something earlier where it posted the location and stuff in chat, and I got people asking for invites, but I'm only lv 19 :/

So I'm not a new player but I'm new to hunts (never bothered with them in ARR), I did all three quests so I have access to the dailies and the weekly B rank now.. But how do get access for S and A ranks? Or do those count even if I don't have a bill for them? Forgive me if these are noobish questions but like I said I am a newb to the hunt lol

S and A ranks roam in the zones freely so they are just waiting for someone to find them given there respective window / condition is open or it hasn't been recently killed
