Bard Off Hand Idea

So I was thinking that it would be kind cool if Bard had some sort of off-hand we could equip. We could have different types of arrows and instruments.

Arrows could effect how much damage we do or what type of damage we do, whilst instruments would serve to improve our songs.

Arrows:
-Elemental Arrows: These could add elemental effects/DoTs to one of our attack skills (or simply add another DoT for us to activate).
-Specialized Arrows: These could simply increase DPS output, or possibly give different stat bonuses depending on the type of arrow.

Instruments: These would help our songs become more effective during combat.

I figure adding something like this for Bard would help vary our roles a little more. I think we've all had that situation of having all the DPS roles filled with Bards during a dungeon, trial, or raid.

What do you guys think?
