Disclaimer: I know there is no such thing as "pulling too early," but whenever I find a hunt monster I would never even consider pulling it myself with only my party around the second I find it. It's just plain rude.
And so it begins. People are gonna justify using this clever method of control.
I don't see how it's rude if you play the game how it's intented. Anyways, all this hunt drama is fun to watch from the sidelines.
Well, this time round, they made the daily hunt logs a viable way of obtainging upgrades for gear. So you can do those to gear up in a reasonable time frame without touching any hunt marks in world.
But I do think they should triple the HP of the A and S ranks as they melt crazy fast, even with everyone not yet at 60. Which when the majority get to 60 it will become even worse.
I'm just here because on my mobile the title of this thread showing was "What do you benefit from pulling". 10/10 would click for that title again.
They get the new shinies faster. Seems to be the mentality of a certain segment of every game...me first, to hell with everyone else.
It's the new thing. Once people get what they want or something more appealing is introduced they'll move on and <hopefully> there will be less drama. Look at the ARR zones. I see A ranks sitting around completely ignored while large groups spam nearby fates.
New hunts do melt so fast that if you don't pull before a certain amount of time, you're unlikely to get full credit.
And yeah, I mean, hunts are FCFS, the ingame systems even talk about such. You may disagree, but at the end of the day, that's just how it's set up, and all the noble intentions in the world won't change the actuality of things.
They should tune the 3 daily marks you get, just double them, problem solved.
I used to enjoy doing A/S, but those instanced Zones definitely killed it for me this time aroun.
Another option, and this is just me here... But they should really quit tying everything they release to FATES/Hunts. Be creative, release something new. Watch the new Relic quest be tied to both FATES and hunts.
This is no different from the hunts in previous patches. People always face checking as soon as they spawn. It is something we just have to live with.
I'm frustrated with this too. I may be stuck just doing my daily and weekly again in 3.0 while I'm stuck on ps3. With the shitty load times all I see is a dead corpse at best unless it spawns in the zone I'm in and I get there early. The instanced zones is only going to make this worse cause its extra load screens.
