Dragon Skin

Evening,

Just hit 56 on LW and starting the Dragon Leather synths, I only have 3 dragon skins I got from doing the msq or side quest. Can anyone tell me the mob that drops this and zone if possible.... memory isnt what it used to be I guess.

Coerthas western highlands has dragons, as does davinia forelands and churning mists. Mossy dragons, blood dragons, thunder dragons etc.

theres dragons everywhere but doesnt mean they all drop dragon skin :P

I just got two Dragon Skins off of a Thunder dragon in the Forelands.

All of those particular dragons do drop the skins. The ones that look different then those with dragon in their name, do not. These all share the same body type, and the same fang, scale, skins drops. I was farming those thunder dragons well before I realized how common the drops were.

I have made almost 1 mil gil selling dragon items, skin fangs hides, etc
