When is a patch expected that might update the classes/jobs

As the title says, there are quite a few complaints and whatnot after 3.0. Either people wanting slight adjustments (or large) and so on.

Any idea what the general time is for the devs to respond to these kinds of issues? When is a next patch expected?

When 2.0 was released and WAR was proven to be very subpar compared to PLD for Coil I believe they only really fixed WAR with patch 2.1

Given that endgame content is only starting a week or so from now and the Savage version of Alexander only comes 2 weeks after that, there currently isn't a pressing need to adjust jobs.

There is. The major content of heavensward is coming out and we need players to be familiar as heck with their class before going into major raids.

This is assuming Alex is non-trivial, which I assume he will not be trivial.

We need actual buffs to make them viable ASAP.


OR AT LEAST TO MCH. Because MCH has been so far discluded intentionally from all raid groups.

I'm pretty sure that Alex is going to be trivial (think CT or Ex primals). Savage Alex is going to be the new Coil.

Really? I used to play a Black Mage back then and I didn't seem to notice a lack of WAR in Titan HM, maybe I just missed it. That's unfortunate though, I remember Titan HM being intense but fun (and really not that hard once you knew the how and what, and people getting more geared of course)

But yeah if that is the case I would hope something is done about the complaints about Dark Knight then. I have been doing fine so far but I felt like my squishyness was starting to show at Ravana HM as the MT even using defensive cooldowns and watching for the proper things, I got through it but I saw my health vanish quite quickly indeed, more so than seems normal.

As someone who has been dying for MCH since it was announced, and even moreso when it was adequately explained, it really hurts that there's intentional exclusion of aforementioned job because of faults not laying with the player, but with the team in charge of balancing the jobs.

I got all the way to 60 with MCH and I absolutely love how it plays, but it is a punch in the gut to realize just how crippling its DPS is compared to the other jobs. Now I have to go back and level another job JUST so I can raid. That's not fair.
