Something of an idea

Recently I've come up with this idea on my server, it's geared towards helping newer players out as it seems our population is growing. As any linkshell knows at this point, recruiting every new member you see ends up being a hindrance down the road if the majority of them quit quickly.. Heres my solution to this, one that allows the community or the shell to be openly social to new players while not cluttering the main shell. (Consider this an open invitation to all new players ^^)

Little Guardians : Kind of a crappy name as I just kind of slapped it together on the fly, but it's generally a break off shell of my main shell guardians (doh,). Regardless, its a a group of anyone from the shell who really just wants to help, and i'm thinking of just allowing anyone in, in terms of experienced, and disciplined players.

The main goal is to invite any and all newcomers.. no application, just grab a pearl, and receive help instantaneously, this works through the volunteering of afore mentioned higher players, and it acts as a hub for newer players, kind of like the old school mentor system that not many used (on my server), back on XI.

Personally I like this idea, it seems to be working thus far and in reality I just want to be able to try to convince newer players (all not just some due to linkshell capacity) to give this game a fair shot.. as most mentioned to me, the game feels daunting... it feels like no one talks, this is my effort to address this on a server wide level.

(in cases where they don't speak my language, I usually google translate and direct them to other linkshells that I know of that speak the language) Sorry for the massive post, I feel like yoshi P xD
