Aery Nidhogg fight & Estiniens dome death + instant Nidhogg KO & Experience points.

I had no better topic for this because I am puzzled what happened. Here's the info:

Steps:
1) Fight against Nidhogg
2) Keep healing Estinien so he won't die.
3) Switch to Cleric Stance to kill the last remaining adds before Nidhogg casts Massacre.
4) Adds die
5) Protective dome comes over Estinien and the party
6) Stand almost directly under Estinien (Picture shows the position)
7) Get killed by Massacre even if under the dome.
8) Shortly after Nidhogg gets instant KO'd and we win the fight and he also kills 2 party members while he does that + no message on log of anyone defeating Nidhogg or Nidhogg defeating himself for any reason. I think Limit break was used, but that shouldn't have been enough at that point to kill Nidhogg outright, as this happened almost instantly after Nidhogg's Massacre move.
9) Receive experience points even when dead(?)*

*Step 9 is a puzzling one, are you supposed to NOT get experience when dead? If you aren't supposed to get, it's a bug that way, because during other bosses if you are dead you won't receive experience points. It happened to me on the first boss of Aery as a lvl 55 White Mage that I didn't get experience points when I was dead.

You should alway receive experience points even when dead on a boss fight because you're in a party with people who completed it in the same zone as them.

Reason for the "instadeath" of Nidhogg: The fight stops when he hits 5% health, so there is not really a death (hence quotations.) There are a few times this happens. Since we don't actually kill Nidhogg during the fight, there is no message in the logs.

As for why you died, I am guessing lag. If you kill the adds fast enough and get under the dome before Massacre casts, you should be fine. If you hit a lag spike at the right time, the server might think you didn't make it before the cast bar finishes.

Well, then that's another bug then. I didn't receive experience points when I was dead on the first boss (not on the same run as this but an earlier one) That's why I wondered why I got exp now and not before.

I was next to Estinien the whole time, I was never in a position where I would not be under the dome and I still died. So it's not about lag, it was just a bug that massacre still killed me even when I was under the dome.
