grphical glitches when i have sound on!!

when I turn my sound off I can play fine nothing wrong. when I turn my ingame sound volume on, I get these green volume like graphical glitches down the sides of my screen that get bigger with the intensity of the sound like a visual player. been happening since the patch before heavensward. im using a gtx 660 2 gig and playing on ultra.

Those are for hearing impaired players and they can be turned off.

I think it is in System Config --> then click on the Icon that looks like an outline of a person --> and the visual sound representation option should be there.
