Markets and Retainers Occupancy Limit

I've just recently returned to the game and like the improvements made to the wards but there is still the issue of the occupancy limits. What's the point of having designated wards if I cannot summon my retainers in said ward.

Possible fixes:

• Increase the number of wards of the same type until there is enough for all retainers
• Increase the size and occupancy limit of wards
• Add an auction house and get rid of the wards

tbh the wards arent so bad.

they need to add a grid to the wards so each retainer is spaced evently apart from each other and raise the limit.

but god yes PLEASE GIVE US AUCTION HOUSE!!!

Yes, I just started playing this game and encountered the problem. I thought maybe I was doing something wrong. I had no idea what the cryptic message meant. I had to search the internet to figure it out.

And THAT is a major problem with FFXIV, which is that it's so incredibly difficult to figure out how to play the game, and there's no in-game instructions. (But once you figure it out what you're supposed to do, it's too easy.)

i just came back to ffxiv a few days ago... and after a lot of solo grinding and crafting i finaly got some stuff worth selling it with my retainer... but... how am i supposed to make money if i cant summon my retainer in any are in ul'dah... that sucks a lot... tried every single ward there, but couldnt summon her *sigh*

i hope this will get fixed soon... i dont wanna sell all my stuff to npc's just to clean my inventory

its a shame that only the really rich players can summon a retainer in this game.

why's that?

because they can afford to buy everything a retainer has on sale and as soon as its dissapeared summon thier own.

way to reward rmt if you ask me

Not a single ward in Uld'ah (Lindblum) that allows you to summon a retainer. Something is seriously broken.

Took me ages to get my retainer into uldah, I know someone who tried daily for three weeks without success. If they can't give us an AH or fit more retainers in there then at least remove the taxes from wards in the other two cities to encourage people to sell there instead.

I agree its total BS that we can't sell our stuff in the major population city (Uldah) You try in other cities and noone goes there to look for items.
