Ravana Knock off + Revive Glitch

So yesterday I did Ravana for the first time and I got killed, the white mage you see in my party revived me just as she was knocked off and funny enough I was revived over the pit. I fell and didn't take any damage and was unable to take damage so when the party wiped I had to log off and back on.

Has this ever happened with anyone else and any other primal boss with similar mechanics?
Thought it was pretty funny.
