Dhalmel Leather {Can I Have It}?

Has anyone found a good place for this? If I want cloth I can farm shrubs for an hour and have plenty. If I want metal I can mine for an hour and have plenty. If I farm the Dhalmels' in Sea of Clouds I am left with spit, meat and maybe 10 hides.

Can we up the drop rate, or am I missing an action {Skin Alive}?

It may be like the Wyverns. They have a higher level version that has a very high drop rate compared to the actual Wyverns.

Better level that retainer. That's what I'm doing for the monster drops. (wish I had more battle retainers tho)
