Revived Character/ Account is Partially Reset (by 1.0 to 2.0 process?)

Sorry for cross posting - i just spoke with online chat after 1hr+ wait to realize this is considered an ingame bug that cannot be resolved via online chat support.

So here is what happened:

I just returned to FFXIV after a long break.

I had SMN50 and SCH50 before i stop playing previously..

When i returned this week, a strange UI asked me to select character to move from 1.0 to 2.0. this is strange, as I remember that I did play 2.0 to get my SMN50 and SCH50.

I proceed to 'move the character' as I have no other choice but to proceed.

the UI asked me to select a class. i selected arcanist.

when i logged into the game, 1/2 my character is reset!
my achievement points are 0. my arcanist is lv1. my SMN and SCH class disapeared. my listed auction items are put back into my inventory. HOWEVER, my THM40 and CNJ25 is still there.

the game continues to educate me on newbie quests.. how to move left and right. how to hand items to NPC - even though my THM and CNJ is way leveled!

my deduction/ conclusion:
there is a problem reviving old players. some may be mistakenly put through this '1.0 to 2.0' process, that led to reset of classes / achievements, leaving a partially reset/ corrupt character.

therefore, my plea:
I wish there is a way to get back my character.. please help! it was very hard for a casual player to beg so many people for help to get job quests done.. while i spent on 3 mth subscription and heavensward, the clock ticks and I am unsure how to proceed.. thanks.
