Yet Another "Broken Queue" Thread

Please, please do something about these broken queues, SE. I get that there's congestion and the lobby errors (which mercifully seem to have disappeared) and queues were expected, but at least fix the broken queues.

I'm currently trying to sign in. I got into a queue of 600-something that didn't seem to move, which I expected. Except suddenly it dropped to 300-something after a couple of minutes. Okay, I thought, maybe they're letting in small groups of people at a time. A couple minutes later it dropped to 26.

And that's where it sat, for fifteen minutes, doing nothing. I was caught between the rock of "maybe if I just give it another minute or two" and the hard place of "if it's broken I need to cancel and restart". I finally opted for the latter... and was instantly logged in.

Fix your queues.
