I am looking for advice on leveling in heavensward
i have my summoner at level 54 and dragoon at 53 , but i am not sure if i should keep leveling them both together or level one of them to 60 first , and if i should keep the side quests for my second class .
is it the same way it used to be with leveling classes in realm reborn you get a bonus for having a higher level class ?
you only get a 50% bonus for having one @ cap. If you leave the side quest for the 2nd class you will run into some issue as your leveling up just one of them.
You should level one to 60 first, It'll be faster. If you are splitting side quest and MSQ between the two you are going to have to grind some dungeons. I did one extra dungeon over the weekend, outside of the required and managed to hit 60. Think I did less than 15 fates, two days of daily roulettes (low/trial/guild), and a few hunts and three of the (L) leves.
Quests aren't effective for leveling once you have an armory bonus, it's always been that way. Use fates, dungeons, and temple leves for your second class.
Get one to 60 first so you can start getting tomestones of law from dungeons/roulettes
