strum Helm missing after main quest completed

Hi,

I was referred by SE customer support to report my problem here as I was advised that this may be a bug problem. I have posted in the Bug reports but they put my post under "not a bug report" and now I'm confused as to where do I ask assistance from. Is there anyone here who can help me out. I'm quite disappointed as there is not even reply in the Bug report forums which could at least lead me to the right direction regarding my query. What happened is narrated below:

Under the main quest "when Cold Sets In", you have the option of choosing Astrum Helm as a reward and since I'm using dragoon as a main character, I naturally choose this. Now, I just recently returned to play the game again and continued on doing the main quest to complete the Astrum armor set as I progress onwards. At first, I didn't notice that the reward I had before was already missing, and when I finally completed the rest of the Astrum armor parts, I realized that I already did quest before for the helm way back and now I'm quite confused why its not in my armor inventory. I tried looking to check if I placed it in the armoire but there is nothing there. I'm quite sure I didn't accidentally throw the item away coz i have this habit of not using the armor set until all parts are complete. I don't understand how it went missing in my inventory as I have all the rest of the Astrum set from the quest except that one considering that its the first piece of the set that I am supposed to have.

I understand that this item can still be acquired by crafting but it takes a while to do so and I don't want to invest my time just to acquire the item as the game has new content and I prefer to invest my time on that instead rather than doing something else for that sake when I'm suppose to have the item in the first place.

Is there any way I can get back that reward from the main quest that went missing. I would be glad for any assistance you can give me.
