My chocobo is currently the default Desert Yellow and id like for it to be Loam brown.
The chocobo colour calculator says that i need 18x Xelphatol apples, 21x Mamook pears, and 29x O'ghomoro berries.
i have all of the aforementioned fruits, my problem however lies with how i should feed them to my chocobo. There are hundreds of combinations and ive no idea how to go about figuring which combination would get me where i want to be.
any and all help would be greatly appreciated!
Those figures are just an approximation. You also need to alternate feedings to get to the color you want and not max out the feed budget. So, first start to feed 2x berries, then 2x pears, and 1x apples. Take this set and alternate each feed type. Do this about 3 to four times. You want to get the overall spread about even. Then, go 2x berries, 1x pear and 1x apple, until the total spread is about equal all the way.
Then, take a break: jott down how many feedings you have left, wait 6 hours, and see what color comes out. Run the calculator again. Use the new color as the start color and punch in your desired color. See how they match up. Are they close? Try again and close the gap. A little patience goes a long way in coloring your chocobo.
