Position in Queue: 1

Attempted 37 times now to get back in the game. Several 2002 and 5006. And this is my 5th time getting into the data center and saying Position in Queue: 1.

Weird stuff - I just got hit with a lag spike, then booted, and now 2002. My friend who I was on skype with saw nothing, and we have the same cable provider. Also no issues on Skype.

I know that it's just a rush because early access on an xpac, but you had to have known that the biggest servers would be under extreme load - couldn't they at least have been beefed up a little? And why does it seem to be so selectively booting players?

My girlfriend I stepped outside to say hi to a friend. When we got back she was in game and I was booted to login. On attempt 45. Got to character select screen 5x but just recycled the position... Been at this for almost an hour.

When you get that position in queue notification just let it sit. You will log in.

is there a point where it will just boot you because you've been in queue too long?

Negatory, Catknight. Been in queues ranging from 1-987. Not a one resulted in a login even after wandering off for half and hour. I think it's just pure luck of the draw.

The trick is if it actually is decreasing. If it isn't then there is a possibility something is going wrong, as people should be rotating out even if not very quickly.
