Workshop and switching house

My FC is planning to buy a bigger house in the future and we are wondering what that will do to our workshop stuff

Does selling your house remove the airships etc as well?

Same here, we are planning to buy a mansion and holding off on purchasing the workshop for this very reason. We don't want to be the first to test it.

Given how everything else works, I doubt this would be any different.

Send a support ticket for it and this was the reply I got:

"Since the whole complex is being removed when you abolish your house, the workshop - including any running projects - will be abolished as well."

For clarification I asked if you lose the airships currently registered to the workshop as well. But they wouldn't give me an answer on that.

Anyone knows if you can remove an airship from the workshop?

Can you just remove the individual parts? I believe you can though I have not tried. Then just carry the parts over to you with the new house. Or are they destroy on remove?

No you can't remove them.
You can downgrade them though, but I don't know if you get to keep the old part yet. We'll be upgrading our first part later today. I'll try to post again then if someone hadn't answered this already.

I wouldn't invest in a workshop until you move unless you can spare the gil.

so, we can assume that if we relinquish the plot /house, we ll lost everything from workshop to airship

You can demolish the airship itself tho. I dont think anyone has done this yet however, so no idea if it returns the parts.

At the very least you will lose any ranks you obtained, as those are bound to the workshop/functioning airship.
