Okay I know this may have been asked before but im kinda new to this. Ive been playing ffxiv since launch on my ps3. I just now bought a ps4 and wanted to know how to transfer ps3 version to ps4. I am aware that the transfer is not free, though it doesnt say that you can no longer do the transfer. So is there another way to it, or am I just unlucky and will have to buy the ps4 version now?

If you already have the ps3 version, never know they might toss another up later on and just transfer then but if you don't care about blowing some money on another game then more power to you.
I see, well I guess ill have to do that tomorrow, since im picking up my pre-order of heavensward. Thanks for responding.. whats a day or two of no ffxiv
Correct. And Protip: Since you already pre-ordered Heavensward, I would buy the physical version of ARR rather then the digital version on the PS store because retail stores have the physical version cheaper.
I have called the retailer and they have none available so digital is my option now. And the retailer that has it physically is 50 miles away.
