Foliage flickering
I experience heavy foliage flickering / jagged textures, especially on tree's / grass and other textures, that are some distance away.
Settings completly set to max.
Playing around with the settings and the graphic drivers had no results so far.
Switching between Dx9 and Dx11 also did nothing.
Anyone else with the problem? Any ideas how to fix this? It's really stressing the eyes.

I have shadows flickering/blinking on directx 11 client and also when now arrived in sea of clouds I see that the textures on mountains are blinking badly :/
-
I can also add that's its also not a problem with the Monitor. Tested it on both my Monitors BenQ XL2420T (120hz TN) and on my Eizo Foris fs2434 (60hz IPS).
Uninstalling Display Drivers via DDU and fresh reinstalling did also solve nothing.
Forcing other methods of Aliasing etc. via SweetFX also did nothing on the foliage flickering.
Any help please?

Just an idea but have you played around changing the setting around???
-
As I said in the first post, changing around the settings had no effect on that matter.
A friend of mine got the same Problem on his Laptop, though.
Whenever in motion, grass / trees and some ground textures start flickering / flimmering like shit. Pixelflickering like mad, especially when it's bright ingame. (In this case the forest around Gridania become a flickering eyesore.
Really really jagged.

Help on this matter is still required.

It happens to me too. It's absolutely annoying.

Could I ask what kind of specs your computer have?

What you see as flickering/shimmering is normal due to the game not having real AA. It's been like that since the beginning (of ARR)
The only form of forced AA that works with the engine (as far as my tests go) is SGSSAA and even then for a flicker free experience you'd need to down sample from 4k to 1080p. For reference, single GTX 980 can barely pull this off.
