DRK/WAR/PLD and PvP
I wasn't sure if this should be posted in the PvP section or if this section was appropriate, so I apologize if this is the incorrect location.
I am curious about the tanks role in PvP. How do they do in Frontlines? How are they vs. each other? I have always healed the tanks... never bothered to figure out if they actually do anything. lol.

Warrior is going to be a force of nature. I shudder at the thought of Zerk + Fel Cleave -> Infuriate -> Fel Cleave.

From what I've seen, tanks are pretty much a bulkier DPS that no one likes to target. You can get in the faces of an enemy alliance and piss off some casters/ranged DPS, Stun/Full Swing enemy healers (increases dmg they take by 20%), and pretty much single handedly destroy attempts to focus down your healer (WAR gets AoE Stun and Holmgang, PLD gets AoE Rampart+1 and Cover)
You might miss the raw firepower of a dedicated DPS class, but the greater defenses make sure you live longer, and will normally discourage just about anyone but ranged DPS from messing with you. About the only thing a tank really lacks is a DPS LB, and a gap closer (which DRK has).
It's fun, but even so you only want 1 or 2 in the group.
*Disclaimer* The balance in power may have shifted since the new skills and jobs were introduced, but it generally seems that tanks are going to be even more dangerous, with WAR getting a DPS stance, PLD getting DPS combos, and DRK getting a gap closer.

^this guy hit the nail on the head. The tanks are powerful and hard to kill but they don't do as much damage as a true dps.

Warrior are kings of PEW. Not the best dps of course, but a lot of burst. Now, with Fell cleave it will be: Beserk, FC, Infuriate, FC.
Paladins are pretty hard to kill: Trait'ed Awareness is the best damage mitigation spell. 25 sec of non-crit is OP.
Don't know about DRK yet.
