Casting Bar issues
Hello all! :)
I'm not sure if this has been discussed already or if this belongs in the "bugs" section. But generally speaking, the casting bar for me is very unreliable in terms of spell completion/progression. For example, sometimes if I'm casting Stoneskin, the bar will fill up to 100% very quickly implying that the spell should be going off (but of course, still takes a few seconds). Other times, it will work fine and the bar goes up slowly as it should.
Is this just more UI lag? Can this be fixed? Or will "server issue" be the reply? :(
One of my friends just recently started playing, and it drives him crazy because he can't tell when his spells are just laggy or if he accidentally cancelled the spell because the casting bar progress is so random.
Is this just on our end or... something common for everyone?

This happens to me too when I try to cast spells back to back too quickly.
The casting bar will show the name and cast time of the former spell I used, instead of the one I am currently using. So if I cast scourge and then stoneskin quickly after, it will fill up to 100% way before the spell is finished casting, while still displaying the icon for scourge.
Sorry, I don't know how to fix this problem. Just know that you and your friend aren't alone.

Ah yeah, that is probably part of it, too. The name DOES change if I start queuing up another spell while the first one is casting. :(
At least it isn't just on my end. XD

I have this issue as well and one where I will tell it to cure and for w/e reason it will launch the previous spell and then... people die. As for the bar animation, I believe it as been brought up but personally have not seen a response yet from a Dev or anyone of a solution or a "We're working it."

I have this issue too i kinda got use to it now but i'm hoping it gets fxied soon, i see it a lot with Rage of Halone too.
I can even go one better then the last spell name being displayed when you cast two in a row, i switched from ALC to TAN and i was still using my Alembic while making a nice new pair of gloves. this made me chuckle :)
