a lot of quests involving dead chocobos, suffering chocobos, and chocobo abuse. I'm so sad.

They did say the story would take darker turn.
Just wait until you see the genetically modified chocobos without feathers, beaks and talons hooked to feeding tubes for mass consumption. :,(
You must have been really bummed to find out what happens to the racing Chocobos that are "retired" in the Golden Saucer...
People wanted a Type-0 cross-over event, Heavensward seems to be it, what with all the chocobo abuse.
i'm still bummed out about that quest that makes me go find a knights chocobo that was chased by a yeti.
needless to say things did end so well for the poor bird.
I'd prefer Lalafell's Corpse over Chocobo's Corpse.
Like in Final Fantasy XII, the storyline calls for a more practical setting, so chocobos have lost their "Mascot Armor" and are free to be treated as what they are. (animals)
I ran up on a level 51 chocobo and it nearly beat my ass. I feel no remorse for the wild ones. Likewise with the wild chocobos in FFXII. You aggro me, you're getting wrecked, you adorable bird thing.
Just about the only creatures in Final Fantasy that are universally mascot-armored are the Moogles. Except i wish i could murder the FFXIII/Type-0 strand of the things. They are disgustingly aggravating. I didn't even think it was possible to hate a Moogle until i was forced to hear an actual "KUPO" behind an annoying voice every other cutscene.
A certain quest made me kill one... and I felt like a monster :( ...
Didnt feel a thing when I randomly killed the birds that aggroed me... dunno why that one made me feel that bad :/
