Schematic Board Items

Does anyone know where to acquire the certain items needed to get the plans from the schematic boards such as the Empty Crystal's for the Aetherial Wheelstand's? Are they gathered or are they bought from somewhere? Any info/input would be helpful. Thanks.

From what I can tell you can get them from voyages.

Yeah it seems that way. That's our best assumption ATM.

My FC has had our Airship going out since 9am launch day Friday and been figuring all this out.

For your schematic board items, you get those from the voyages that you can send your Airship out to.

We are up to sector 3 (2 levels from reaching 4) and we have only found bamboo weave so far. You get that from sector 1.

I have a rank 7 airship so far and we have Bamboo Weave & the lumber (i forget it's name) needed for the Airship 3 prototype.

I'm really hoping to get those empty crystals soon for the artherial wheel though.

Misc things we have gotten were Vivinite for garlean steel (needed to craft airship prototype II) and 11 vit materia II's.

You guys know how to increase your ships construction quality? we've used all hq mats and not have it get to 100? was thinking maybe you have to have a different person turn in different items.

The HQ/NQ status of the items appears to have no affect on the "quality" stat. We were also thinking that maybe we need to have more people hand stuff in, but we haven't been able to test it since we ran out of things to make. Maybe when we get enough mats for the next prototype, we can try that out.

I'm also curious if anyone knows what you need to repair your airship? Is that gathered from Voyages or somewhere else?

Every crafting class can make the item you use to repair the airship. Even CUL. Don't ask. No, seriously, don't.

You can restart another Bronco Prototype Hull even though you've already made one because the parts are sellable. As for the item that can be made, I don't need to ask I can figure it out now that you gave me that info. Lol
