Crashing every 5 minutes

Lately, whenever I've tired to play the game, it's being crashing after about 5 minutes. It only started doing this about a week or two ago.
Specs
CPU intel core i5-4460
GPU nvidia geforce GTX 750 TI
8 gb of ram
OS windows 7 ultimate.

My first question would be "Have you uninstalled and reinstalled?" I had crashing after the expansion released, and a full reinstall fixed the problem.

when I tried to uninstall the game client, it said all my in-game messages and mail would be deleted...so I didn't. I was afraid of losing my bonus items. I can't even log into the game to get it, cause the moment I get to the main menu, character selection screen, or loading screen..."FF XIV has stopped responding." :|

I tried everything so far, and nothing's working...been like this, for the last 10 hours now. Couldn't log in, over the last few days either.

edit: just wanted to point out, uninstalling and reinstalling helped it work.
