So what's being done about Aether server congestion?

Any word on this? More server space potentially? I'm not going to say this is the horrible launch, since every other data center (especially the Japanese ones) are working perfectly. However, the fact that I've been unable to play nearly ALL WEEKEND for early access is unacceptable.

There is another wave of players coming on Tuesday...So I ask you, SE, what are you going to do about it?

Twiddle some knobs, press a few buttons and when the congestion dies off say see we fixed it.
Likely this will go on until the total number of players drops off again because there is no way they will fork out for more server space/bigger pipe when they know this is a finite issue. Well until the next add on.

They need to do something unless I'm logging in very early or very late I'm spending hours trying to get past the errors to even get to character screen

That's a terrible business model. Launch and expansions are when the most new player join. Retention rates are generally pretty low, and shitty servers will drive away a lot of people who have nothing invested in the game.
