Question about dungeon mob exp nerf...

So I remember reading somewhere that exp gained from mobs in all pre-50 dungeons was nerfed. Even yesterday in Coerthas someone asked who wanted to do DD first room, then someone else shouted that DD has been nerfed, lol. But then today a friend went to start a DD first room grind and I told him about the exp nerf that SE mentioned. I asked him to let me know how it goes. Afterwards I asked him how it was and he said he didn't notice any difference. Funny thing is after that first try he's been in North Than FATE grinding ever since, lol.

Now I'm confused. Did SE lower mob exp in pre-50 dungeons yet or not? I know the total from the dungeon is still suppose to be the same, which means if mobs were reduced then the ending exp must of been increased. I never payed attention to it while getting AST to 50 since I did entire dungeon runs before switching to FATEs at 38.

I don't think they lowered the overall exp from the dungeon. They just pushed some of the exp from the mobs onto the bosses. Though, in specific, only these dungeons were affected: The Sunken Temple of Qarn / Cutter's Cry / Stone Vigil / Dzemael Darkhold / Aurum Vale.

It's all in the patch notes.

Yeah, I know they didn't lower the overall experience, which is why I said I know the total is the same. :p So the increase was to the bosses and not the ending. Thank you. Yes, the patch notes is where I remember reading it. Thanks for the reminder.

It's important to note, however, that the boss XP wasn't increased. XP from the trash mobs was shifted to the bosses. They did this specifically for DD because people would gather groups to do DD only for the first part then quit. They wanted to stop that practice, so they nerfed the mob XP and gave it to the bosses.

I hate to tell you this, but shifting xp from mobs to bosses is an increase to boss xp.

That's why it was a clarification to make sure the OP knew that they weren't simply increasing XP on the bosses, they were SHIFTING the XP for the increase, not just adding more.

Why would I not know that when I stated in the topic that I know mob xp was reduced, then in my later post I mentioned that it was nice to know it went to the bosses rather than end of dungeon like I thought. Sorry, don't mean to come across rudely, but it was in the topic.

As for DD first room it did no good as it is still the fastest way to level. That friend I mentioned was able to gain 2 levels in a 20 minute period, which is still faster than FATEs. He confirmed this after I posted this thread.
