PS4 pet horizontal hotbar can't be disabled

Clicking and unclicking the option under character config/hotbars for the pet bar does not get rid of the horizontal bar. While in the HUD layout, pressing triangle to hide it, makes my character jump. Whenever I'm in Praetorium or Steps of Faith and operate either the magitek or a cannon, the horizontal bar appears in addition to the already existing pet crossbar, cluttering the screen elements and making it harder to see the targets.

Posted this some time ago and it got moved to "accepted bugs". This is still happening though and VERY annoying with the new feature on choco porters for example. Praetorium, Steps of Faith, Stone Vigil HM, chocobo porters...
