It's almost impossible to use the full value for each manual within the time limit of 20 minutes. The lower level manuals have a 3 hour duration for much less exp. Why are these so short?

As it turns out, as taught by my LS...just do quicksynth (~60 of them should use up the bonus, for about 5k bonus each synth)...I am silly.
I didn't realize they removed the exp penalty from quicksynth (a long time back). -

I think FSH is gonna be the hardest to meet this... heck, I bomb out of a normal DoL Manual in like 5-10 mins. I kinda NEED those new Survival Manuals! Trust me, Fisher doesn't have a problem with this. That +150% EXP on fishing is actually massive amounts of EXP every cast. -

I used three of them pretty quick the other day on Miner, I was doing leves in Hinterlands and it was gone before I knew it. I was getting anywhere from 8-12k depending on the chain.
