Ceremony Chocobo can't fly but the Fat Chocobo can?

Don't get me wrong, love the flying fat chocobo, but for those of us that have a ceremony chocobo, we paid 10 or 20 dollars to have that thing and now its pretty much useless, what gives?

This also goes for the Odin mount, I paid 25 dollars to have that badass mount and now with heavensward when am I ever really going to use that thing if it can't fly? It's rendered useless at this point, meaning some people have paid up to 45 dollars on game content that is mostly useless now,

Please, please, please! add flying capabilities to these mounts

It'll see the upgrade eventually. The ceremony bird will probably get flight access the same time as Sleipnir, if not sometime shortly after. I'm pretty sure that it was brought up during an LL about Sleipnir being able to fly. They probably just want to get the more commonly used/popularized mounts access first. In the case of the ceremony one, it's probably a little tricky due to the 2-person capability of it, so it may see a lower priority as a result (same for the other 2-person bird from RAF).

I would definitely like to see the wedding choco be able to fly. In the meantime, /follow works well while flying so long as you start flight before hitting /follow ^^;

Actually I'm pretty sure the reason for preventing the 2 seater from flying to begin with is just to prevent you from taking your friend to all the Aether Current the easy way, lol

Well, you are using a piece of cake to tempt the fat chocobo to flap its wings faster.

I also think that's the main reason, but they could just have made some kind of workaround for that. Like with the ring, you can only use it in new areas, if both partners already have flying unlocked in that particular area. Just do the same with the 2 seat chocobos so the game checks if both players can fly in the area and if not, it just won't fly. ^^ Not that hard to make from a programming standpoint so yeah, i can totally see SE upgrading the 2 seaters with a flying ability aswell as Sleipnir.

Did they remove functionality from the mount? Because if it's still the same now as when you bought it--you knew what you were getting. I'm pretty sure that when you paid money to get married you KNEW you weren't getting a flying mount, so why make up a lie? It's never been useless or you wouldn't have gotten it. That would be like me buying a car, and then throwing a bitch-fit next year, because it can't fly. I knew it couldn't fly when I bought it. Just like you knew it couldn't fly when you bought it.
