Invalid Password error despite exact same password working in Mog Station

Steps:
1. Opened Software Security Token app on phone, received One-Time-Password
2. Attempted to log into FFXIV with my user name, password, and One-Time-Password. Received error "Invalid Password"
3. Logged into the Mog Station with the SAME EXACT user name, password, and One-Time-Password. Login worked successfully.
4. Attempted to log in with a new password. Received "Invalid Password."
5. Tried a few more times. Received "Because password entry has failed multiple times, you will not be able to log in for several minutes."
6. Got very upset.
