There are no fixes. There are no workarounds. Just keep trying.

Our clients/games/connections worked fine 3 days ago. Nothing on our end has changed to such a degree that they would cause problems to this extent. The only thing that has changed are the amount of people playing/trying to log/etc etc.

They dont have enough datacenters. They have the most populated servers on one datacenter so if you're on Aether you're doubly screwed; hence why you have such an easy time connecting to other data centers or the JP servers.

Sorry folks, but this is no different than the initial launch of the game. Things will calm down in a couple weeks. Sooner if they split the data centers in half.

I believe they expected it to clear itself up. I thought it had, yesterday I had no real problems playing. Yet today, it is worse.

SE could at least answer us, this is ridiculous,and so frustrating.........

Stufff like this makes me glad I didn't waste money on the collector's edition. I'm just about through buying products from SE. Their initials should stand for "Screwing Everyone".

I decided that invading the Japanese datacenter was a good idea. I'm going to get my money out of this game even if I have to play it all over again.

The fact that Square has not fixed this huge of a known issue is both irritating and saddening. It's been an issue for over two years, and happens every major patch.

Ridiculous that they did not prepare for this. Funny how they love to gloat about their success, yet they were not prepared for the population surge? They knew how many pre-orders they had.

I just picked up the base game to try it out, and I've been unable to play during prime time 2 nights in a row now. Thank goodness I didn't have to put in a cc for a subscription yet, because I won't be renewing past the initial month if this doesn't get resolved very quickly. Like many here, I work for a living so I can't play any other time. I can understand waiting queues for high pop servers, but if I can't even get TO the waiting queue then I guess I'll just play something else.

they had this mess up at the beginning of the FFXIV:AAR and they didnt think, "hey we may need more for the inc. in subs for the xpac"? that's bad business if you don't learn from your past mistakes
