So if I switch to 11 I get the cannot connect to lobby error, but if I switch to 9.0 I don't get any errors at all, it just goes to the loading screen of the game and just crashes to my windows desktop.
What gives and is there anything to be done about it?
I dont think the lobby issue is related to switching between DX 9 and 11. At least it hasn't for me. I get the lobby disconnect on both.
However, the game DOES crash randomly to desktop with no errors on DX11 for me. Even if I'm watching the opening CG movies, the game just closes. I have a AMD 6990 and Catalyst drivers 14.501. Zero issues in other games.
I havent been able to get in on DX9, but I was in a wait queue on DX11 and it crashed there too. I hope DX9 isn't also crashing, but if you have it too, I'm worried.
PC gaming. If a game/expansion works on launch, count your blessings.
I've been playing since Friday afternoon, and accidently left the game on from Friday night to Saturday morning with no crashes or anything, and then all of a sudden I cannot even access the game after the character select screen due to it crashing and it once stated that something went wrong that made it crash. So I don't know, I recall someone saying that this was the smoothest launch of an expansion or whatever ever so I say they jinxed it!
