possible Ps4 bug?

after installing Heavensward on PS4 i can no longer use the d-pad to move the cursor in the treasure window to lot/pass on things, idk if its just some option i hit while resetting my filters ect or if its just a bug. as it stands im forced to use the touchpad to do any lotting now and its really cumbersome.
any help would be great, I just want to know if its a bug or im doing something dumb.

It was in the patch notes.
Remember how if 4 things were up for grabs, and you were the last to be rolling, after every roll it would throw you back to the now first item? That was annoying yes?
Now nothing drops until everything has been completely rolled on.
To avoid using the touchpad, press X on the item you're trying to roll on.
