If you are referring to the artifact armor sets 2, trade in item also drop from Snowcloak, Sastasha Hard, and Temple of Qarn Hard. Now unless they changed this...you can try the Calamity Savager NPC. If he doesn't have them... Then I would say nope from quests already done.
Wait... If you aren't getting the i55 gear anymore, how are you supposed to get augmented dyable AF?
Technically, only the body is i55, other pieces are i50 ;).
It seems that the lv. 50 quest reward both bodies (i55 and i90). So, either they removed by mistake i50 pieces as reward for one the lv. 45 quests or now you can only buy them from the Calamity Savager.
I'm in the same boat. Rush leveled NIN after returning to the game and hit 46 before the patch. I did the quest the night before maintenance. :'(
It took me a couple hours to realize, but I figured out how you get the i50 pieces while I walked home...
You probably get them the same way you always have: doing the quest that has you run around collecting them. It's just that now you also get the i90 pieces at the end as well. We should all do a collective facepalm for forgetting that they were never quest rewards, I guess.
So can we assume weathered Sol gear is available at later quests? And perhaps sands and oils are available and even later quests?
Oh my god, it makes so much sense! Thank you :).
According to the database, first quests of Main Story after Praetorium reward phylosophy (darklight) accessories and then weapons (all i70) until Moogle trial. Then, mythology accessories and EX Primal token weapons (all i90) until Leviathan encounter. Finally, people will earn enhanced soldiery accessories and armors (all i110) until Snowcloak. Nothing afterwards.
