DRK - Scourge and Macros - known issue?

So, DRK has a level 6 skill called Scourge. It works like fracture.

For kicks, I was trying to set up a macro to use scourge and fracture in the same button press, but the macro does not seem to recognize scourge. My macro is as follows:

/macroicon "Fracture"
/ac "Fracture"
/wait 2.5
/ac "Scourge"

Fracture will go off fine, but nothing happens with Scourge, not even an error.

Also if I do /macroicon "Scourge" the macro image will not change at all. Is scourge just not set to work in macros or something currently?

Has anyone successfully used scourge in a macro?

Macros can't use fractions of seconds. You'll have to put /wait 3 in there or it rounds it down to 2 I believe. That's not to say Scourge isnt bugged of course, it may be, but try with a 3 first.

It's generally a very very bad idea to use GCD skills in macros though - you can't queue them up by pressing the skill in advance and it will result in a DPS loss as you'll have spaces between your skill use (the 3 second wait between fracture and scourge necessitated in that macro alone will add 0.5 secs onto your rotation).

It's best to just keep them on separate buttons. Also, I've not done the maths on DRK (just PLD), but is Fracture actually worth using? It's only a 220 Potency attack in total if it ticks for the full 18 seconds, for a huge 80 TP. You might find it better just not to use Fracture as a crossclass skill and take some of the extra tanking cooldowns instead.

Having this same issue. Trying to macro Scourge with Reprisal and it won't work. Have tried to macro just Scourge and doesn't seem to want to function. Wondering if anyone has found a solution.

Also, just to add, pretty sure macros can do fractions now. They patched it a while back :)

It's the opposite. The macro with 2.5 wait will work as 3.0.

OP, I noticed the same problem with the AST skill Ascend. Hopefully SE is working on it and they will fix the issue as soon as possible.

Sounds like they missed a bunch of skills when adding to the /ac and /micon commands. They'll fix that soon, I'm sure. Apparently, Ascend doesn't work either, so swiftcast rez for AST doesn't work in a macro :(

But yeah, macros use whole seconds. Try it out. I did when trying to make crafter macros go faster. They only do whole seconds.

I use macros even with the whole seconds because playing on ps4 I find ability spots on a premium so I macro some abilities together so I'm able to play somewhat effectively without trying to cycle bars in combat. More so than ever now with five new abilities for all jobs

Ha, I was trying to make a plunge > scourge macro for single target opener to try and couldn't get the scourge part to kick off. Tried different ways but couldn't and decided to check around. Oh well.
