Server side suggestion
I'm not sure if this is possible to do or not, since it would mean fundamental core adjustments, but could it be fixed so that when a lobby error occurs.. say error 2002.. could it just kick back to the "start, play... etc" screen, instead of logging us out completely and forcing us to enter in all our information again?

This would be really helpful if it can be implemented. Even a queue to access the login server to avoid this would be appreciated, rather than trying to guess when you can log in without it kicking you off.
