Heavensward: game crashes when porting to FC house/ Error 5006

[Possible Bug] (?):
I was teleporting between my personal house and our FC's house, and the game completely locked up/black screened/crashed, requiring a full system restart.

Upon rebooting/trying to log in, I receive the error message:
"The lobby server connection has encountered and error. Error 5006."

Haven't been able to reconnect for the last 3 hours, am still getting same message.
Meanwhile my partner is in the other room, and has connected normally/ is playing just fine without any interruptions.
Am using the DX11 client.

Hey there, I see you're having problems too. Well, currently the easiest solution is to try flushing your DNS. Simply open up the start menu and type "CMD" in the search to find command prompt. When there, type in "ipconfig /flushdns" (no "s) and then try again. If THAT doesn't work, what I have done is switched to the Google Public DNS servers which you can learn how to do from here: https://developers.google.com/speed/...dns/docs/using I hope that helps.

I have the same issue and have done both as you said x_zenith, but it still doesnt work :( Still getting error 5006.

edit: it worked after the 4th attempt after flushing dns...
