At first I was hyped about the dps stance but it's only going to be a flat +5% dmg and then+2% crit per stack. Meh.
Cleave looks nice, but you need a full stack to use. The new lvl 60 aoe has an avg potency.
On the other hand the PLD is getting lots of added group utility. Bubble for party when healed, targeted heal that will also heal self, new combo finisher(s).
I realize this game is balanced around PvE but damn, looks like i need to lvl a PLD.

A 500 Potency WS in Fell Cleave, a third +wrath/abandon stack oGCD, and a TP rejuvenation skill doesn't please you? First WAR I've seen today not dancing on their desk in ecstasy.
If WAR can't build a burst rotation around Fell Cleave's 500 potency.. well.. <idk something witty>

No idea what you mean about the PLD pacification effect... it has been there since forever and is pretty much worthless in PvE content.
But PLD sure is getting some nice new skills as well.

When they released the WAR new skills I was like "Oh Oh Oh, I foresee nerf incoming"
I think they can really do the DPS job as ot now, and maybe for a tank this is too much.
As far as PvP goes, Ninja is the only Job that has any right to complain about new skills. Some nice out of Hide/Suiton burst in Duality/Dream within a Dream, but that is about it and even that isn't particularly strong given Duality shots itself in the foot as far as potential goes. Dream within a Dream is a 300 potency ability provided all three hits connect. Duality either doubles the potency of Spinning Edge, or adds 100 to everything else. Aeolian Edge changes are problematic in PvP. Not sure how I feel about losing Perfect Dodge in PvP, but I'm sure as hell pissed about it in PvE (because going "Screw you Titan, I'm standing in the middle of Landslide and there is nothing you can do about it" was such fun).
Other than that? Until SE does something with enmity in PvP, Ninja just got Provoke II and III in PvP. If Provoke could force a lock on for, lets say 10 seconds in PvP, that would be awesome. PvP could also have its own enmity type system, where enemies can build "enmity" on you and the result is dealing more damage to them, but less to others. Then skills like Smoke Screen and Shadewalker might have some value in the PvP scene, but I'm not even thinking about balance there and even if I particularly wanted such a system I really doubt SE would ever work on it anyway. So yeah, guess I'll be enjoying Provoke II and III in few weeks time when the new PvP gets added...
