Heavensward Digital Copy not Validated

So, my friend got an email stating that he can download heavensward and the product has been charged. He is having no issues at all downloading the heavensward update while I keep getting errors. I, however, haven't gotten any validation that my heavenward preorder has been ordered.

Am I unable to download the patch until I get this email? The PS3 copy I've purchase has been validated but the digital copy that I got for windows hasn't been and I've gotten no email regarding any of this.
