No, nothing about that yet. The first improvements with DX11 are about ground textures, shadow improvements, and reflection enhancements. No news about character textures, though.
They mentioned quite a long time ago that they wouldn't be including any higher resolution textures.

If I take my glasses off and do a handstand from my bed I can barely tell that the game doesn't have hardware FSAA or that it uses nearest neighbor 'squared pixel' style texture filtering on almost every armor design to save on GPU resources for this PS3 game.
