PS4 patches downloads?

Why am I not getting a second patch download or a single over 5gb patch download on PS4 digital?

I only got the 3.7gb patch download when I logged in, already tried closing and opening client and logging back in several times all I get is a can't play because maintenance is ongoing. I really don't want to boot up the game after maintenance and be prompted to this missing part of patch download when I could have downloaded today and be ready to play it. Can any mod please shed some light on this matter?

I understand people in pc who only got patch 1, can get patch 2 by enabling dx11 and clicking the HW icon if they didn't already get the 8gb patch from the start.

Edit: if someone re-reads this I can't post any longer says my character isn't high enough or I have reached daily posting limit which I didn't even know we had, this sucks lol.

Prob not ready yet

i got it after i add the early access code to the the mog station

I preordered on PS4, and it's set to download at 11pm tonight EST, I was able to download some stuff this morning though

Enabling DX11 is only giving them the patch for DX11 nothing more.

Question to people who got the digital copy on PS4: Does your's have the ARR logo above "The game is unavailable for play during maintenance."?

'Cause mine does, not sure if that's normal or I've done something wrong.

When I was downloading it, I closed out of it since my ISP caps my speed at a certain point, and the icon for the game itself changed to HW. After I opened that up and logged in it asked me if I wanted to connect it to my service account and stuff. Then it just proceeded downloading (not sure if anything got added onto the initial download or not) and I wasn't prompted with a second download.

Tried closing out of the client and restarting my PS4, neither changed anything.

That's the same boat some of us are on with digital PS4, connected to service account then the 3.7gb patch download. But some others got a second download after closing and restarting the client and logging back in, some others got a 5.7gb download from the very start, when we try again for the rest of the patch all we get is 'can't play maintenance ongoing' message.

I feel like it might be related to the timer on PSN. Maybe because that 1.7GB thing we downloaded is inaccessible to us, it doesn't change the client? Maybe when that unlocks it'll be finished? I've no idea, really wish there was some mod clarification on this or s/t. :V

Does anyone with the digital edition have Heavensward above their maintenance text?

I've been hearing about this second patch thing as well. But haven't seen such a button after my update. Could a dev clarify this issue? I would hate to start logging tomorrow, only to find out that I have yet to download things or that something went wrong with my early acces registration.
