OMFG we are FREE. no more RNG terror for months.
look at this from the recent live letter :
Alexander (Normal) Loot System - Treasure coffers in each area contain special items which can be exchanged for gear
From each level one of these items may be obtained per week
Items can be traded for the gear of one's choice (no more of "dam.. always dragoon drops")
Type of quantity of special items needed varies with type of gear they are to be exchanged for... One special Item A can be traded for an accessory... or Four special item B can be traded for one piece of body armor
Slide mentions "detailed description of the system complete with item names will be included in patch 3.01 notes"
You can do 4 levels in Alexander, so you can get upto 4 tokens in a week
4 weeks after HWs, the Savage Alexander will be released and the loot system will be different.. more on that with next Producer Letter (only maybe troublesome part here.... hopefully they dont hide massiv rng there)
while you still need to roll on these tokens it seems this is still ALOT better than the terror RNG we had before which didnt reward some of us after MONTHS of playing. sure everyone is gonna roll on these tokens basicly like sands and oils but atleast you now HAVE something you CAN roll on each kill. not seeing DRG loot over and over and over again. i am so glad this happens finally. coil rng was really killing will to play recently.
You can go back to Alexander and do the run as many times as you want.. but if you do Need, then you wont be able to get a new one until next week... basically "Crystal Tower" style system but without seeing the same class gear drops again and again.
