Hello everyone. Just going to post this here since I am curious to know if other people know the answers or maybe the Devs can help.
I began downloading the PC expansion/patch via the browser earlier today and out of bordom I clicked the settings button and I see there is a "save backup UI" or something along those lines. In a panic, mid download I went ahead and created a backup.
My question to the devs and community is, was it too late mid-download/patch or did I truly lose all of my UI + macros and all that other good stuff?

The back-up is more for if you have to reinstall for any reason, like if you're switching to a new computer. You should be fine without having to back-up if all you're doing is updating.

You wont lose your settings from creating a backup the exact opposite infact, you now have a backup of your settings.

Would be nice if we found out this backup works cross platform. It's such a pain setting up hotbars on both the pc and ps4.
