Problems with Early Access?

EDIT: There's another thread on this now and it looks like I'm not alone so we can just let this thread die. Carry on.


So I bought the CE of Heavensward and input my code in the Mogstation followed the instructions on this page: http://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodest...723b86c22fee5f

It says:
"To confirm early access:

Visit the Mog Station, log in, and select “Your Account.” You’ll see early access referenced in your “Account Type” section."

However my page looks like this:

Anyone else having this issue? I tried inputting my early access code again and it said it has already been used. I'm just afraid that I'm not gonna be able to get into early access.

Actually just went to check myself, mine is the same way even though this morning (before they changed the page cus I can't find the old style) Showed I was registered for Heavensward Early Access

Click view additional items in the Bonus area. It should say "Pre-Order Bonus Items" along with any other stuff you might have gotten in the past. If it does, you are good to go as your code has been used on your account.

I had this problem, and it turned out I had only entered the first code. The early access code you received when preordering is redeemed on a different site. You are then emailed a code that you have to enter on Mogstation. I had neglected to enter this second code. I just did it now and everything went through.

Honestly, the way SE handles these product codes in general is a giant mess. Buying the game from their digital services is not enough, apparently. No other MMO has these hoops you need to jump through endlessly just to ensure that you get the bonuses that you were promised.

Also, I didn't even get a 20-digit Early Access code. Same thing happened when I pre-ordered ARR. I could never register my pre-order bonuses, despite having a code. This is something that has to be fixed. Buying the game should instantly upgrade and apply everything you purchased to your service account.

While I agree that the process could stand to be less convoluted, if you preorder you do get all of the bonuses. When you preorder you are given 2 codes: the Heavensward code (which won't be available to you until the 23rd), and the early access code. The early access code has to be redeemed on https://preorder.na.finalfantasyxiv.com/na

Once you enter the code there, you will be emailed a new code, that you enter on Mogstation to gain access to the preorder items.

PS3 people are still missing codes. (one of them being me...and that one is redeemed on PSN [only the PC code was put in to Mogstation, which did work].

I dunno there...but I imagine that the reason that process is a bit more convoluted than the PC version is because everything has to go through Sony. That does add a few extra hurdles that SE has to jump through.

It was announced ps3 codes are going out Thursday
