New idea to combat RMT

SE writes a script that shows random character names in the search that the gil sellers are using to send us their spam and friends requests. These phony characters do not exist in the world and they have random names and they appear to log in and out. If you send one these characters a friends request or a tell your account is silenced. The person thinks they are still sending friend requests and tells but only they see them. A hour or 2 later they receive and in game mail that they have been silenced indefinitely. They may contact support to have the silence removed if it has been done error. It should be very black and white that they are a gil seller. This could impact a very few innocent people, those people that message or send friend requests to others that they have never met, just don't do that.


I do not see this as any kind of negative, these people can still play while silenced and it will be easy to prove that they are not a gil seller. I think this would crush the spam completely, these fools will be spamming for hours and not even realize they are accomplishing nothing. While they do not know they are silenced they will hang themselves with evidence that they are gil sellers. They will have so many tells and friend requests in their logs they wont even contact support to have it removed.
