I don't know, they said they're increasing the alexandrite given by the daily quest, and collecting all the alex was what almost killed me.

but with higher lvl monsters you can spiritbind faster. meaning materia prices will drop in price.

Also there will be gear that guaranties tier IV+ materia making gathering those much less of a pain.

Is not relic being made irrelevant either way though with the level 60 relic line?

i don't get why there isn't a option to skip and hide it behind the (Large amount of alexandrites you need) as well as several 'are you sure' that way your still gathering the 0 alexandrites, but you can skip the matiria it would only negatively affect you if you wanted to min max a outdated weapon that has no use anymore D:

Yes, but it still works as glamour for those that wants that.
And something that I started to wonder... The new relic won't start untill 3.1, and maybe we still have up untill then (I have been fixed that deadline is HW release) to finish a Zeta to get that "consideration" they have mentioned for those that own a Zeta prior to the new Relic.
If so we still have time to get our Zeta for that little something extra.

have you seen the patch note and this pics showing a venture for airship coming back with almost 2 sets of 15~20 materia ?

Oh no, please donèt take it like I meant any offense. I think the zeta weapon (ESPECIALLY NEXUS OMG) is beautiful. I want to do the line myself.

Ya but then you are just asking them to hand you the weapon. If you really want the weapon then materia it with junk tier I materia of every option and be done with it but come on you are asking them to recode alexandraite in a way where each one would somehow make the materia being used more efficient and they aren't going to take the time to do that. So yes instead just put skill speed, spell speed, determination, accuracy, piety, critical hit and parry tier I and just power through it.
