Housing in Ishgard?

I saw mention of market boards but no new housing wards. Is this a thing? Not that it would apply to me, will new players ever get the chance to buy a house? That being said... I would like the opportunity to buy a house to participate in house only content (but no plot exist for my FC to buy...) ._.

They said already ishgard won't have housing in 3.x

They will add more wards to the current areas.

Adding housing to ishgard will basically make it impossible for new players to even go to thier house. It would be in an area with high lvl monsters.

they said they will add housing to ishgard in a future patch but not at expansion launch.

So which one is it? o.O

Don't be silly. It's much more important to create more mechanics gated behind housing than more housing.

Housing in Ishgard will not be implemented until* later patches.

Because you need alot more server space to make more housing wards then mechanics.

Q23: In the expansion we will be going to Ishgard, but will you be implementing housing areas in Ishgard as well?

A23: The war between humans and dragons is still being fought in Ishgard and it’s not really a safe place to live, so we will not be implementing housing areas at the beginning of the expansion. While we may implement it at some point in the 3.0 series, we aren’t at the point where we can promise any kind of time frame.


future patch is the best way to say it cause it's not comfirmed no ishgard in 3.x time period.

No development, and I mean zero seconds and zero dollars, should be going into improving and creating house mechanics until the housing system gets fixed.

And if it is never going to get fixed, then it should never be developed further.
