Weird login issues this morning?

I played up to last night with no problem. This morning I try to log in to forums as I usually do at work and my entire account has been terminated. Cant put in a ticket, need an account for that. Check my email... nothing (that includes spam). My first thought is "hacked by gold sellers"... but no email? No warning. Just complete account termination? Seems a bit much for something that couldve only happened overnight.

Here is the kicker, Im still logged in and can post from my phone which stays logged in for a while. Havent tested with the game since im at work but since SE phone support is going to be closed for the next 3 hours, figured id check if there are any login issues going on or maybe get through to support here.

So apparently buying from Ebay is a problem. After three months of playing and leveling, account randomly gets banned and its suddenly a fraudulent key. And since ebay isnt an official retailer, im screwed. So yeah, done, too bad, buy again, start over. Id gladly buy another key but not paying again to start over thats horseshit!

I'd suggest keep bugging the SE customer support about it. Did you keep receipts?

If you bought just a serial number off eBay, then yeah, you got screwed. N E V E R, buy "just a serial number" from anyone other than the first party company (in this case SquareEnix.) It's likely that many spammer accounts are using some kind of key-generator, and that same key generator is the same thing the eBay seller used.

Here's something I want to point out. If you bought from an eBay seller, open a dispute immediately. Especially via PayPal. Don't let those fraudsters get away with it.
